Symptoms of a faulty power supply

Standby LED goes dark

The red standby LED dies and the TV only responds after you briefly unplug it from power — a classic power-supply failure sign.

TV shuts off on its own

The picture switches off without warning or the set won't boot at all — the voltage supply collapses.

HDMI self-test fails (NG)

The internal HDMI self-test reports NG although the panel is fine. Together with the standby-LED symptom this points to the power supply, not the mainboard.
